About me
Hi, this is Tori at Gramms’ Designs!
I began crocheting at my grandmother’s knee in the U.S. state of Mississippi. I raised two daughters who are now married, then I met and married a guy from Finland. Living life in Finland requires adjustment. The things I miss most about living in the U.S. (besides the food, yarn prices, and my family) is being a new grandmother who lives so far away from my grandbabies and children.
My grandchildren’s births brought a chance to return to crochet and helped me find a passion for amigurumi and clothing. It allows me to express my love for them with handmade items, and I want to share that experience with others.
I realized that not every mother or grandmother has the time or skill for crafts, but every mother and grandmother wants to give their precious ones something special. I hope I can help other parents and grandparents with that gift.
I created Gramms’ Designs in 2018 with the intention of spreading joy in the amigurumi and crochet community for many years.
